The 2014 Fanti Brunello di Montalcino opens to aromas of ripe plums, strawberries and sandalwood notes that all take shape and emerge from the glass. It possesses a medium body, that is framed by a core of sweet tannins and comes to an end with soft and delicate finish. While this is showing well today, it should also become more compelling with some short-term bottle age.
