The 2014 Mastrojanni Brunello di Montalcino is a marvelous showing in this challenging vintage. This beings to impress as it opens with warm, inviting aromas of red plums, strawberries and stony minerals that all take shape. It continues to impress with its medium body, silky tannins and a clear and direct finish. This is excellent now, however it should also go on to evolve beautifully with some short-term cellaring.
