The 2015 La Togata Brunello di Montalcino is an excellent showing in this vintage. The slight initial reduction shows notes of black plums, lime, black licorice and hints of cola adding to the complexity. Medium-to full-bodied, soft tannins and a voluminous finish with great balance. Excellent today, but should be even more impressive as it develops over the next few years.
