The 2015 Abbadia Ardenga Brunello di Montalcino opens to wonderful fragrant aromatics of rose petals, tangerine peel, grapefruit juice and lemon zest which is underlined with hints of star anise adding further complexity. On the palate this is medium to full-bodied and structured with soft and well-extracted tannins. It remains nicely balanced throughout the progression and displays notable length on the finish that gives immediate pleasure.
