The 2015 Casanuova delle Cerbaie Brunello di Montalcino is a wonderful success from this outstanding vintage. It displays an intense and persuasive color followed by gorgeous aromatics of cherries, raspberries, red plums, pomegranates and elderflowers which all emerge seamlessly from the glass. There are some secondly characteristics of damp earth and white musk which added even further complexity. Full bodied, silky tannins and a light, silky finish, with great persistence. This is a simply beautiful bottle of Brunello that can be approached early on, but also should has the potential to age incredibly well for many years to come.
