The 2015 ‘Vigna Montosoli’ Brunello di Montalcino from Le Gode is sensational. Exuberant character for such young wine, this shows stunning aromas of black cherries, blackberries and wild blueberries. Full bodied with superb quality tannins that make for a gorgeous velvety mouthfeel which comes to an end with precise and harmonious finish. This is outstanding today, but should become even more compelling as it evolves over time.
