The 2015 Campofiorito Brunello di Montalcino opens with aromas of red cherries and plums, woven together with spices, licorice, thyme, minerals along with hints of wild mushrooms. On the palate this is full-bodied and beautifully structured with a velvety, yet firm texture. If finishes long, with red fruits and spices lingering on and on. Overall this is a simply gorgeous Brunello which is accessible now, but also shows nice aging potential.
