The 2015 Riserva from Lazzeretti is a fantastic showing in this vintage. Artistic and from a different time would describe the primary profile which gives aromas of pressed red flowers, dried cherries, chopped almond, wet geraniums and nutmeg. In the background the brightness of lemon juice dominates the secondary scene and suggestions of perfume. Full-bodied, velvety tannins of excellent workmanship and a juicy and focused finale that ignites the palate. A Masterpiece to keep in the cellar.
