The 1999 Silvio Nardi is a stylish, opulent Brunello, showing loads of dark cherry, blackberry, spice box, leather and earthy tones. It offers a rich, plush texture with well-integrated tannins and a long spicy finish. This looks to be entering its twilight and may only be a couple of years left, no reason to hold this for much longer. (Through 2016) - February, 2014 (JD)
