The Le Paturnie Brunello di Montalcino is a wonderful showing in 2010. It instantly opens with aromas and flavors of ripe cherries and plum, woven together with spices, earthy minerals, licorice and a hint of leather. It’s medium-bodied with gorgeous silky, yet firm texture that continues on into the long, pretty finish. While this will be accessible early on, it will ultimately be best after some short-term cellaring. (Best 2016-2026) - February, 2015 (JD)
