The 2010 is an absolutely dazzling Brunello di Montalcino from Poggio di Sotto. This is incredibly fresh and pure, delivering absolutely gorgeous aromas of blackberries and ripe plums woven together with beautiful spring floral notes, Asian spices and sweet pipe tobacco. On the palate this this continues to impress with its remarkable balance and finesse. As this heads into the finish there is a wonderful layer of acidity giving this a wonderful sense of vibrancy. Everything works together seamlessly without missing a beat. Overall, this a magnificent effort from Poggio di Sotto that should continue to age gracefully for many years to come.
