A simply gorgeous Brunello from Andrea Cortonesi which is impressive for it wonderful purity and finesse. Aromas and flavors of strawberries and red berries are woven together with floral, sweet licorice and spices all coming together in the glass. This is beautifully balanced with striking precision leading to the long silky finish which is laced with delicious red fruits. Another excellent showing for Voliero which is already quite accessible. (Best 2017-2028) - February, 2016 (JD)
