The 2011 Querce Bettina Brunello di Montalcino is a wonderful showing. It begins to open with aromas of dried cherries and plum which come together with leather and dried floral along with an underlying hint of sweet spice. This is a beautifully made, classic style Brunello which is well structured with a fine, silky texture that grips a firm hold on the finish. A gorgeous wine which should continue to evolve over the next decade. (Best 2018-2028) - February, 2016 (JD)
