The 2011 Brunello is a fantastic effort which begins to open with aromas of cherries and red berries woven together with spices and licorice. This is beautifully structured with silky tannins and wonderful overall balance and finesse. It finishes up long and pretty with fresh red berries and spices lingering on and on. Already showing well, but will benefit from some short-term bottle age. (Best 2018-2028) - February, 2016 (JD)
