The 2011 Montosoli is a simply gorgeous effort, as this beautiful single-vineyard Brunello slowly begins to open it delivers wonderful aromas of dark cherries and red berries followed by freshly cut flowers, leather and exotic spices. It continues to impress with its striking purity, while displaying remarkable overall balance and finesse backed by a silky, elegant texture and a long lingering finish.
