The 2011 Brunello begins to open with aromas of cherries and red berries woven together with spices, licorice, floral and earthy minerals. On the palate this is nicely structured with silky tannins and wonderful overall balance. It finishes up long with fresh red cherries and spices lingering on and on. Already showing well and continues to improve with each swirl of the glass but will ultimately benefit from some additional bottle age. (Best 2018-2028) - March, 2016 (JD)
