The 2011 is a wonderfully expressive and forward Brunello from Luce della Vite, which offers bold aromas of ripe dark cherries and black fruits woven together with sweet spices, graphite, toast and crushed violets. On the plate this is full-bodied and well structured with an gorgeous open-knit, velvety texture and remarkable overall balance and finesse. The finish is long and expansive with an array of dark fruits leaving a lasting impression.
