The 2010 Castelgiocondo 'Ripe al Convento' Brunello Riserva slowly begins to unwind, releasing aromas and flavors of blackberries, dried cherries and plum followed by leather, forrest floor, licorice and dried spices all coming together beautifully. This age worthy Brunello possesses excellent structure and balance leading into the long finish. This will require some additional bottle age some however this will continue to develop and age gracefully for at least a decade. (Best 2018-2030) - April, 2016 (JD)
