The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino opens to aromas of cherries, wild berries, fresh basil, orange peel and hints of crushed stones. Elegant and refined, this medium-bodied Brunello is well balanced with lovely finesse through the lingering finish. If approaching today, extended air contact is essential, however this will ultimately be best after a few years of bottle age. (Best 2019-2029) - February, 2017 (JD)
