The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino from Beatesca is a seductive, modern style, offering aromatics of ripe dark cherries, blackberries, plum, spices, leather, tobacco and toast. Full-bodied with a wonderful round, velvety texture and impressive overall balance and depth. Flavors of dark fruits and spices continue to persist on the lingering finish. This was aged in French oak tonneaux for two years and a further two years in the bottle. Overall, this is delicious Brunello which will be fully accessible upon release.
