The 2012 Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino instantly opens to attractive aromas of blackberries, cherries, exotic spices, floral and some subtle leather notes. Medium-Full-bodied, round and velvety with beautifully polished and excellent overall balance. This continues to impress with it’s gorgeous silky texture and fresh characteristics, which make it totally irresistible. A simply remarkable Brunello which is already showing extremely well and should continue to evolve over the next decade. Sourced from 4 Vinyeards: Caparzo, La Caduta, Il Cassero and San Piero – Caselle and aged in the traditional 80 hectoliter Slavonian and 50 hectoliter French oak casks.
