A sensational showing in this vintage, the Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino begins with gorgeous aromas fresh red fruits, plums, spices and smoky herbs all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is beautifully textured with gorgeous silky tannins and lovely finesse. Shows remarkable balance and focus through the long, sleek finish. Although this needs some time, it appears to be one of the finest wines of the vintage and should have a wonderful future ahead.
