The 2012 'Marasco' Barolo is a beautiful wine. It begins with aromas of dried red berries and cherries, which woven together with dried florals, spices, leather and lovely mineral notes all coming together beautifully in the glass. This continues to impress with its remarkable balance and focus as it heads in the the ultra-long finish. Overall, the Marasco is a fantastic wine that is showing excellent now and should continue to evolve for years to come.
