The 2018 Aculei Barolo is a gorgeous wine. It begins to impress as it releases pretty aromas of ripe strawberries and raspberries followed by sweet spices, florals, licorice and fresh minerals. This structured Barolo is impeccably balanced and focused with a wonderful polished texture and a long, juicy finish. While this is already very appealing, it also has the potential to age beautifully and it would be best to allow it another couple years of bottle age.
