The 'Bricco Luciani' is an absolutely thrilling Barolo from Silvio Grasso in 2010. Offering seductive aromas of sweet cherries and strawberries along with vanilla, fresh violets, licorice and smoke, which all come together beautifully in the glass. This impresses with its round and silky texture, as well as wonderful finesse and balance. The finish is long and polished, leaving behind a mouthful of juicy sweet red sweet to linger. Today this is showing well and looks like it will be accessible early on, however it should also age gracefully. (Best 2015-2029) - July, 2014 (JD)
