The ‘Brunate’ is simply beautiful in 2010, this classy Barolo delivers gorgeous aromas of dried strawberries, floral, smoke, fresh minerals, licorice and subtle hints of spice. This is impressive for its silky, refined texture that is laced with sweet red fruits which encapsulate your palate and dazzles all the way to the end with wonderful finesse. For me this for me the pinnacle of these latest releases from Oddero, as well as the most ageworthy, however at this stage it is the least accessible of all the estates cru’s. Nonetheless, it's a flat-out thrilling wine, and will only continue to get better over time. (Best 2020-2036) - July, 2014 (JD)
