The 2009 'Mirau' Barolo from Negretti instantly opens up with pretty aromas of strawberries and red berries woven together with dried floral, licorice, smoke and hints of eucalyptus. The medium body is well structured with fine grained tannins and a long, pretty finish that grips a firm hold.
