The 2011 'Marcenasco' instantly opens with beautiful aromas of fresh ripe strawberries and cherries followed by licorice, rose petal, eucalyptus and minerals. It shows wonderful balance and structure with a gorgeous polished texture, remaining fresh and inviting all the way through the long finish. While this is already extremely appealing, it is sure to develop further with some additional time. The 2011 is an excellent follow up to last years outstanding wine, maybe even better.
