The ‘Bricco Manzoni’ is a lovely effort in 2011, as this slowly opens in the glass it releases aromas of red fruits, plums, spices, eucalyptus, mint and some dried floral. It possesses wonderful balance and focus with an excellent structure backed but fine tannins which grip tightly on the finish. Today, the Bricco Manzoni may be the least accessible of Federico Grasso’s 2011s, but it shows wonderful potential to age gracefully. (Best 2018-2030) - July, 2015 (JD)
