AZELIA Barolo 'San Rocco' 2013

The San Rocco seems to be the most complete wine from Luigi Scavino in this vintage. San Rocco is a simply gorgeous wine, which displays plenty of its Serralunga charm, as it walks a fine line between style and elegance. Aromas of dark cherries, strawberries are woven together with light spices, mint and floral notes which burst from the glass. This beautifully structured Barolo is full and polished and its outstanding overall balance all make the San Rocco extremely appealing in its youth, nonetheless it also possesses the characteristics indicating it will age gracefully for years to come.
