MARIO MARENGO Barolo 2013

Sourced from the La Morra zones of Boilo, Serradenari, Roncaglie and Fossati, this classic Barolo is simply gorgeous as it bursts open with inviting aromatics of fresh sliced strawberries and white cherries woven together with spices, dried floral and leather. This beautifully structured Barolo is well balanced, with fine tannins that grip hold on the long finsh. This a fabulous standard Barolo from Marengo which is geared for drinking over the next handful of years.   (Best 2018-2027) - May 2017 (JD)
