Cornelissen's Munjebel PA comes from 60+ year old vines from the single cru Porcaria in the contrada Feudo di Mezzo. It begins with gorgeous aromas of dark cherries, pomegranate, flowers, sweet spices, ripe apple, crushed stones, and wild herbs which all come together and burst from the glass. On the palate lots of red fruits and berry, coupled with hints of chocolate and dried spice. The fruit is incredibally pure and focused. This is among the more powerful single cru wines from Cornelissen in 2017 and should go on to age gracefully for years to come
