The 2013 Etna Rosso consists of mainly Nerello Mascalese with a touch of Nerello Cappuccio added in. It delivers aromas and flavors of strawberries and wild forrest berries followed by exotic spices, currant buds and crushed stones. On the palate this shows a wonderful example of elegance, and finesse, backed by fine silky tannins and a well balanced finish. This looks like another great Etna Rosso from Tenuta delle Terre Nere, but it will need just a bit more time in bottle age for everything to come together.(Best 2016-2020) - June, 2015 (JD)
