PAOLO BEA Montefalco Rosso 'San Valentino' 2008

The 2008 Paolo Bea San Valentino is a ripe and fresh, with crushed berries, wild herbs, tobacco, spices and wet stones. It possesses a gorgeous fine, silky texture which it kept vibrant with a wonderful touch of acidity straight through the pretty finish. This is a fantastic entry to the amazing Bea Family wines. Composed of Sagrantino, Sangiovese and Montepulciano from a single vineyard of organically grown fifty-year-old vines. (Best 2015-2022) - December, 2013 (JD)
