An Old World wine with the fruit forward and higher alcohol profile of a New World wine. Well-made and pleasant but missing some grape and terroir typicity. Spicy, sweet and fruity nose with lots of red fruit notes - red plum and strawberry jam - plus vanilla, sweet cinnamon, and black pepper. Bright and rich on the palate with a repeat of those red fruits, fresh and ripe, plus notes of blueberry and savory sauce. Soft tannin, medium finish.
