COPPO Barbera d'Asti 'Pomorosso' 2009

The 2009 Coppo 'Pomorosso' is a dense powerful Barbera d'Asti grown in selected areas near Canelli at an elevation of 667 feet above sea level. It brings layers of ripe blackberries, black cherry, vanilla, herbs, spices and toasty notes. This is full-bodied and supple with round, velvety tannins which burst on the the finish. The wine spent 14 months in 100% new french barriques before bottling. Readers who are looking for a modern style, delicious Barbera d'Asti will absolutely love this.
