The 2021 'Fontana del Fongo' Valpolicella Classico begins with aromas of cherries and red berries which are woven together with spices, sweet licorice and wild herbs. The palate is medium-bodied and and structured with silky tannins. It remains balanced as flavors of sweet red fruits are kept fresh and inviting by its lovely underlying acidity. Delicious now and should continue to drink well as it evolves over the next few years.
