The 2015 Villa Antinori is a classic style, offering inviting aromas of wild cherries, currants, dried spices and licorice along with secondary notes of leather and fresh flowers. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a backdrop of firm tannins and great acidity leading into the finish. Becoming more appealing with air contact, this lovely Chianti Classico should begin to hit its stride after year or two of bottle age.
