The 2016 Pattini Chianti Riserva opens to inviting aromas of cherries and red plums, which are woven together with exotic spices, leather, cedar and hints of sweek oak. On the palate this is medium-bodied and possesses a nicely polished texture that leads up to the mouth watering finish. This is a wonderful Chianti to approach now or let cellar for another year or two.
