The 2020 from Castello di Bibbione is a wonderful showing. It begins with aromatics dried red berries, dark cherries and plums that come together with spices, florals, licorice and spices all taking shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied and beautifully structured around fine tannins. Elegant and refined, with a core of red berries and dried spice flavors, which persist through the finish. Overall, this is a wonderful Chianti that should continue to drink well over the course of the next decade.
