The 2006 Ruffino Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale Oro brings blackberry, plum, loamy earth, chocolate, spice, tobacco and cedar that flow from the glass. This has a soft velvety texture and a medium finish. Although a solid wine, I would really like to see a little more in a top bottling from such a big name producer, especially in a high quality vintage like 2006. (Drink 2012-2018) - July, 2012. (JD)
