Tenuta Di Arceno's Chianti Classico Riserva comes the estate's warmer, south-facing blocks. It is made from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and aged 12 months in small French oak barrels. It has a lively nose with pretty aromas of fresh red berries, currant, citrus peel, blackberry and coffee. This is a medium-bodied Chianti Classico with a silky texture and lovely balance and a nice touch of acidity at the end. Appealing today, but it will gain complexity over the next few years.
