CIACCI PICCOLOMINI d'ARAGONA Sangiovese Montecucco 2013

This blend comes from the southern border that hails from the province in Grosetto. Aged two years, one in Slavonian oak and one in French oak. This is a blend of 15% Merlot and 5% Syrah alongside Sangiovese. The wine begins with res currant, blackberry, cedar and seaweed. There are flavors of cherry pie, raspberry, and pomegranate with crimini mushroom. This is mineral driven with a silky texture. Wonderful value from this region.
