The 2016 'Le Pergole Torte' is an absolutely stunning wine which slowly evolves in the glass releasing gorgeous aromas of wild red berries, tar, spices and fresh florals that all come together beautifully. The palate is bright, focused and crisp, with a beautiful plush mouth feel. This continues to impress with its wonderful balance and focused flavors of fresh berry fruit, tar, and hints of cedar embers that lead to an incredibly formidable, yet polished finish. This is breathtaking wine that already showing flashes of brilliance in its youth, however it should also have a remarkable future ahead.
