The 2011 Oreno is a superb showing, it brings aromas and flavors of fresh blackberry, cassis, vanilla, spices, violet, mocha and hints of toast. It possesses a full body with round, polished tannins and a lovely velvety texture, with a sense of vibrancy from the underlying acidity. The finish is long and caressing leaving behinds another layer of dark fruits, spices and vanilla. Today, it needs just a bit more time, but this will be an wonderful Oreno. Composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. (Best 2017-2029) - July, 2014 (JD)
