The 2011 'Guado al Tasso' is a drop-dead gorgeous effort composed of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. This spectacular wine opens with seductive aromas of blackberries and black cherries followed by spices, floral and pencil shavings. This impresses for it outstanding overall balance and remarkable finesse as it glides effortlessly into the long finish.
