The 2012 'Il Fauno' is comprised of 48% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. It delivers lovely aromas of black cherry and blackberries, which come together with spices, toast, earth, licorice and a lovely mineral character. IFull-bodied and well-structured with a gorgeous velvety texture backed by sweet tannins which grip on the long finish. An outstanding effort which should continue to drink well for a decade.
