The 2014 'Black Label' is a blend of equal parts Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. It begins with inviting aromatics of cherries and blackberries, which are accompanied by spices and tobacco with hints of leather and sweet oak all taking shape. This medium to full-bodied red is velvety and nicely polished, with a core of berries and spices which expand through the finish. This is already offering plenty of early appeal and should continue to show well over the next few years.
