The 2016 ‘Marianova’ from Michele Satta is an excellent release which is composed of equal parts Syrah and Sangiovese. It opens to aromas of macerated cherries, blackberries, chocolate and chopped hazelnut nuances that all take shape. It possesses a medium-full body, with excellent structure and long and incisive finish. A beautiful wine that will age gracefully for years to come.
