The 2012 Molino Della Suga Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a lovely showing and drinking nicely at this stage in its evolution. It begins with inviting aromas of wild berries and red plums which are woven together with spices, floral, licorice, and zesty notes all taking shape. On the palate this is medium-bodied and refined with a gorgeous silky texture that continues on through the pretty finish. Overall, this is a beautifully made Brunello that is open for business now, but should also continue to evolve nicely over the next few years.
